B1 Spa & Villa Suites is located on the idyllic island of Koh Samui off the eastern coast of Thailand. Our prime, beachfront location in the quaint Fisherman's Village of Bo Phut features a panoramic view of the sea and Phang Ngan Island in the distance.

The property and villa itself, the conception and development of which was overseen in cooperation with Feng Shui Master Vincenzo di Ieso, ensures the correct flow of the earth's vital energy forces: while the design and location of each individual environment within conforms strictly to the principles of Feng Shui.

Owners/Operators Francesco and Suveera had previously made Koh Samui their weekend home for more than a decade, and the acquisition and subsequent development of the unique B1 Spa & Villa Suites property allowed for a permanent move to the island where they could build on their mutual passion for the balance between nature and the energy of Mother Earth.

We are aware of the effects pollution is having on Mother Earth's health and strive to raise awareness.

We encompass music, sailing, arts, Feng Shui, and floatation, combined with a balanced, healthy food intake and a daily active experience for complete rejuvenation.

In following the Feng Shui rules, our colours, shapes, environment and interior design was chosen to create different energetic ambiences to improve the wellbeing of our guests.

We try to benefit our guests energetically to the earth through our Feng Shui principles, and analogically to the cosmic powers through the connection of the positioning of our first floor rooms to the stars in the Orion's Belt (Alnitak, Alnilam, Mintaka).

Consider the mental and physical bliss of floating in a zero gravity environment.

Think of a specially equipped sensory Spa environment where your body will be cleansed by misty streams of water, followed by the rejuvenating four hands massage. All of this being preparatory to entering, and floating in our tank. The floatation experience is intended to free your body, thereby freeing your mind,  allowing you to deal with whatever clutter or internal restlessness you may have been experiencing.

Approximately twenty minutes into the floatation experience, you will begin to forget that you are actually floating in water and the feeling will be more like being suspended in a pool of darkness, light as air, and a part of the light that suddenly, for an experienced floater, takes over the dark and restricted environment, connecting you with yourself and your purpose.

Particular care has been taken in the selection of our fine furniture and arts. In this process we have collaborated with several prominent artists and interior decorators from around the region. As a result, the B1 villa is a permanent arts exhibit and interior show room with selected objects available for sale.

One of the pillars of our philosophy is that in order to maintain a positive mood and experience consistent feelings of happiness, you need a good dose of the active lifestyle on a daily basis. The rush of adrenalin combined with the feeling of complete freedom is an incredibly powerful ally in the pursuit of this goal.

Imagine the wind and the elements lashing over you, charging you with their energy, the boat speeding silently across the flat water of a visually stunning natural bay. Ideal sailing conditions for most of the year are but one of the multitude of attractions provided by the island location of B1 Spa & Villa Suites.

The combination of the vast local sailing experience of Francesco and Khun Ja, allowing non sailors to benefit from this daily regimen as well, and the beautiful waters surrounding the island of Koh Samui, make sailing a vital part of the B1 experience.

Renovation:

We planned to close during the low season, 1st May – 15th June, 2007 for have 3 penthouse suites built in place of the restaurant, 2nd floor, which, unfortunately, we had to close permanently.
